The Savoy Hotel, Miami's History
The hotel was built in 1935 and listed in America's National Register of Historic Places in 1979. We've kept our old world Art Deco charms throughout the years and designed the hotel to evoke the tropical charm of Miami. Our historic hotel offers a beach-modern feel with serene blues, crisp whites, and beautiful murals in our lobby and pool area.
This beachfront property located in the South of Fifth neighborhood on Ocean Drive spreads across 73,000 sq. ft. of secluded grounds outside of the noise of downtown bars and nightclubs. Stay just steps from the world famous and historic Ocean Drive, the epicenter of arts and culture, world famous architecture and night life, and miles of beautiful sandy beaches.
The Savoy Hotel & Beach Club is conveniently located on a quiet strip of Miami Beach’s South of Fifth (SoFi) District, a corner of the city known for its relaxing atmosphere, a place that mixes high-fashion with no-frills dining, with miles of beaches offering unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Welcome to a hidden lush haven and a picture perfect hotel where one can hide away and relax under the Miami sun.
The Savoy Hotel & Beach Club is a member of Historic Hotels of America®, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation for recognizing and celebrating the finest historic hotels across America.
